| Our home on Rotonda is a large, spacious air-conditioned luxury villa that has been built to the highest standards. It has been decorated and furnished with great care, taste and elegance. The tiered ceilings enhance the feeling of light and space. The Grande entrance of the house leads to a formal lounge with large sliding patio doors that look out onto the pool and patio area. Outside on the patio are sun loungers and table and chairs where you can relax and dine al'fresco overlooking the Rotonda river. The excellently appointed kitchen is well equipped with all the modern appliances you could wish for including dishwasher, large microwave, fridge freezer with ice maker and a large American cooker. The kitched also features a breakfast bar with stools and is further complimented with an additional breakfast area with table and chairs overlooking the pool. Behind the kitchen is the utility room with a large American washer and dryer that, in true American style, makes the washing a pleasure rather than a chore. Adjoining the breakfast area is the informal family room which is complete with stereo and TV, three seater settee, chair and occasional tables. The patio door leads directly onto the pool and patio area. The formal dining area creates an ambience of quiet elegance for that special dining occasion. The bedrooms are spacious with large walk-in wardrobes. The master bedroom with its large bathroom en-suite is complete with his and hers marble basins, a walk-in shower with separate toilet and twin bath tub. The bedroom is exceptionally spacious with a queen-size bed and beautifully appointed furnishings. Sliding patio doors lead directly onto the pool area. The remaining guest bedrooms are equally well appointed, on having twin beds, the other with a queen-size bed both tastefully furnished. The two guest rooms share the second bathroom with a large walk-in shower, wash basin and toilet. A third toilet and wash basin is situated in the poolside shower room. |
