Two wildlife preserves - the Briggs Nature Center and the federally funded Rookery Bay Preserve are right accross the road from the entrance to the complex on Collier Boulevard. Sit out on the lanai to enjoy a stunning long water view in each direction. You can fish right from the backyard. And you'll see birds and other wildlife of every description. The master bedroom has a King sized bed and it's own private bath. You also have the water view and access to the lanai through a set of French doors. The den area features a 42" TV with cable and DVD player. Designed with comfort in mind, the den area has a Queen sized sleeper couch to accomodate additional guests. The kitchen features all new appliances. Refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, microwave - all the essentials and more.... The second bedroom features a queen sized bed, a private bath, and a very large closet. Like the master bedroom, this room also has a charming set of French doors with blinds that provide total privacy when the doors are closed. Marco Shores has two tennis courts (seen in the photo) and two swimming pools. One pool is open air and doesn't require a key, the other one is screened with a secure door requiring a key. Both pools have restrooms. The grounds in Marco Shores are impeccably maintained. There's the waterway peeking through the apartments in the background, of course, but also plenty of grass and trees and a walkway that runs the entire length of the complex. Here's the water view as you look to the right in the backyard. At Marco Shores you can have fun in the sun all day, and then retire to an incredibly serene and peaceful place for the evening.
