This new,beautifully decorated & newly painted, 2 bedroom, 2 bath townhouse in Barrier Dunes is 100 steps to the clubhouse & pool on the dunes overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! You will find an oversized King master suite with dressing area, double sinks, walk-in closet, bathroom w/separate shower & over-sized bath on the upper floor. The lower floor has a fully-equipped kitchen overlooking the dining area & family room, a Queen bedroom & a full bathroom. The family room includes cable TV, & a Sleeper Sofa. Both bedrooms have cable TV, & there are private balconies off of each bedroom w/a huge balcony off the family room. Barrier Dunes is a secure, gated community with 2 fantastic pools. 1 is located directly on the dunes with a beautiful view of the ocean & a white sand beaches of Cape San Blas(100 steps from the front door!). It also has lighted tennis courts, fresh water fishing ponds & is VERY family friendly & pet friendly! Cape San Blas, Florida is located between the Gulf of Mexico & St. Joseph's Bay. All units are connected by walking and bike trails which meander through the dunes to the tennis courts, fresh water ponds, pools & several gracious gazebos. St. Joseph Peninsual State Park is located right next door, & offers excellent access to the bay as well as 7 miles of undeveloped pristine wilderness area and beach. Nature lovers will enjoy rare views of sea birds & other natural wildlife. The clear water bay is one of the cleanest in FL & provides excellent snorkeling, boating, fishing, crabbing & scalloping. Although Cape San Blas is quite, peaceful & w/o the dense high rise condo’s of Destin or Panama City, it does not mean that you can’t find “the basics” on the Cape. There are 2 outlets on the Cape for groceries & other “beach basics”. Boats, kayaks and much more are available for rent at these locations! If a full service grocery store is more of what you need, on the way into Cape San Blas you can stop at the Piggly Wiggly in either Port St. Joe (20 min) or Apalachacola (25min.) If you don’t feel like cooking up your catch for the day, you can also eat out without leaving the Cape. Conehead’s is located right next to The Entrance, .2 miles (a 5 minute walk) from Barrier Dunes. You can pick up a burger, among other things, and an ice cream cone.
